Strategic Plan

The quality of university life describes how the University's academic, administrative, 文化, physical and social environment impacts the 学生, 教师 and 工作人员. Enriching the quality of campus life is one of the six strategic goals of the Strategic Plan 2009-2014.

One goal of the university is to become a more vibrant residential campus with a multi文化 community that respects individuality. Become known as a student-centered university. Expand residential life and co-curricular programs to enhance student learning and engagement outside the classroom. Intensify our commitment to bringing engaging arts, 文化, and athletic events to the campus and to the surrounding Hampton Roads communities. Strengthen intra-campus communication systems and attend to the campus community's overall welfare. Renew focus on the civility of personal interactions and deliver first-rate service to 教师, 工作人员, 学生, and the public.
